Glasgow and South Western Railway Association
Welcome to the Glasgow & South Western Railway Association. We were founded in 1964 as a volunteer society whose aims were to preserve information about the railway company from its earliest days and promote the memory of its operations, trains and infrastructure. Aspects of the LMS Railway and the British Railways steam era up to 1967 are included where relevant.
The Association is a Registered Educational Charity SC046766.
For a modest subscription of £20 (GBP 20.00) we offer:
An A4 annual journal of around 50 pages
An A4 quarterly newsletter usually 12 pages
An archive service currently being backscanned and revised
Meeting in Paisley Abbey and also by Zoom, which avoids the need to travel.

Overseas members wishing printed Journals and Newsletters subscription is now £30. If you live overseas and are willing to receive email and pdf copies of the Journal and Newsletter you can advise us, and pay £20.00 It is with regret that we have to increase subscriptions but rising postal costs have pushed us.
